Transformation was not occurred because if you observe the table correctly The table shows about the transformation of pGRN plasmid. This plasmid has ampicillin resistance, so the transformed cells can survive in the presence of ampicillin in the medium.
Come to table:
The results are same when they transformed with pGRN and no pGRN. It shows no transformation happened. The cell number in the ampicillin provided medium(row number 4&5) must grater than without transformed cells in the medium with AMPICILLIN (row number 8&9) because those bacteria do not survive in ampicillin medium.
