Question
Ture or false, FADH2 made during fermentation provides small amounts of energy?okay so...i think true cause FADH2 transfers its electrons to cytochrome II (at a lower energy level than NADH). This means that the electron transport chain provides about 1/3 less energy for ATP synthesis using FADH2.
But... this is for the electron transportation of an aerobic microorganism, and fermentation occurs with out oxygen (anerobic)
So... does it still function the same, or am I just over thinking this one ?
THANKS
