From Newton's first law of motion (Law of Inertia), an object at rest will stay at rest with respect to ground unless acted upon by external force. Now when the train starts moving, no external force(ignoring friction) is applied. So the marble will try to stay at the same point with respect to ground. So it will appear to be moving the against the direction of the train when seen from inside the train. Hence the marble appears to be moving backwards.
