Cortisol: A hormone that has anti-inflammatory properties and increases gluconeogenesis (Production of glucose from non-carbohydarates such as lactate). Thus increasing glucose level in the blood.
Adrenaline: Increases blood sugar level, cardiac output and blood pressure. Increased cardiac output and blood pressure ensures that the glucose present in the blood reaches cells within a small time period.
