V = e - i * r

0.1250 = e - (0.1250 / 500) * r

0.1905 = e - (0.1905 / 1000) * r

by solvnig both equation

r = 1.1 * 10^3 ohm

then by putting value of r we get e

e = 0.1250 + ( 0.1250 / 500) * 1.1 * 10^3

e = 0.4 volt

c)

the efficiency is = V^2/R / P

= 0.1905 / (1000 * 5 * 2 * 10^-3)

= 0.003629 = 0.3629 %
