Question
For the situation described in each of the five diagrams below, indicate what the resulting current flow will be in the small resistor, R. Note that B is uniform over the entire region where it is shown. Choose from the following answers:
(A)Current will flow from right to left.
(B)Current will flow from left to right.
(C)No current will flow.
(D)It is impossible to uniquely determine the sense of the current from the given information.

What is the current through the resistor R at time 6?Explanation / Answer
(1) number of magnetic lines of fields decreasing in the loop,so current in the loop will be so that it increase the number of magnetic line of field and it is possible when current in R should be from (a) right to left
(ii) loop is comming toward the current carrying conductor so magnetic field is increasing in the resistive loop so direction of current in loop will be from (b) left to right in resistance
(iii) current in cell containing loop is clockwise and resistive loop is comming toward the current carrying loop so magnetic field in the loop is increasing so current direction in loop will be from (a) right to left in resistance
(iv) from direction of rotation of resistive loop it is clear that number of magnetic line of field decreasing in the loop so current in the loop will be so directed that number of field line increases so current in loop will be from (a) left to right in resistance
(v) at t =6 s current in the solenoid will be from right to left that is in opposite in direction as shown and magnetic line of field in solenoid will be left to right and just after t=6 current in solenoid is decreasing so magnetic lines of field is decreasing .now so current direction in resistive load will be from left to (b) right in resistance but at exact t=6 s there is no current in the risistive loop.(c)
