Moreover, nutrition has been r as an essential element in athletic achievement. Performance can either be enhanced or decreased by an athlete's diet, which ideally should be high in complex carbohydrates and low in fat A dietary analysis can give a good assessment of an individual's diet. One can then recognize and rectify deficiencies and other areas of weakness in a diet. The basic method is to record one's food intake for 3-7 days. The person would record the type and amount of each food: in cups, tablespoons, ounces etc. He/she would then place this information in the computer program. There are a number of free online programs that you could use for yourself or for your patient/clients. In this lab we will be reviewing how to analyze a person's diet using the computer program provided You will need to review the lab case and answer the following questions PRIOR to coming to CLASS. You will be handing in your responses before our discussion. You need to type your answers to the following questions on a separate sheet to be handed in at the beginning of class.
