Hospitals quality plan includes accountability for the development, implementation and monitoring of the quality plan.senior executives team and clinical leadership, quality official playing major role in this quality plan.. consultation plan for both report plan for all staffs,they become educated about quality objectives.. stakeholders also consulted as a part of strategic planning exercise..multi year planning in many organization focus on a one year horizon..it can not be achieved in a single year.so they need to achieve their target regularity or funding organisation focusing with long term quality and safety compliance requirements that need to be timely incorporated.. building development quality plan includes existing internal and external factors and influence into account..comm communication with stakeholders to improve goals,targets and metric.. communication strategy create a positive attitude around the quality plan and initiatives..reporting on going monitoring of quality and patient safety reporting template will be uniquely reflective of their circumstances.
Long-term care facilities settings:
Long term care lack of comprehensive,so it is difficult to process their quality plan.. health and quality of life outcomes are the end result of the structure and processes of care..this facilities consider residents total environment and all aspects of their physical, social, psychological, spiritual and intellectual..it includes risk management activities,, education program,complaince report, clinical affiliation, performance review and peer review and administration audits.quality plan includes residents council in the quality assurance process.
Both organization having difference in cost..but it has similarities in age,sex,nursing care requirements etc.in hospital specialist consultation,drugs,test, examination are more than long term care facilities..it is a large project for facilitating the quality..now a days in long term care facilities also included acute care settings intervention through medical approach so it has some similarities in quality of care.
