T cells? the antibodies reduce viral load? cannot be controlled and if her CD4 helper T cell count does not return to more normal levels?

Explanation / Answer

9.According to the confidentiality of the patients identity there should not be displayed anything as she is HIV positive patient which can be a risk to the patient physically and emotionally. The case history of the patient will be attached to the bed side however helps in awareness of the patients condition and also helps the staff to be careful while medicating the person.

10.CD4 helper Tcells play an important role in human body immune system. In most cases the reduction in Cd4Tcells shows the advanced stages of HIV infection as the Hiv virus triggers the Tcells leading to the infection or syndrome known as AIDS.But there is also an other disorder where the CD4 Tcells can be affected called as Lymphocytopenia which shows the condition of lower levels of lymphocytes.

11.Once the person is exposed to HIV virus, billions of viruses gets multiplied and kills the immune cells like CD 4 and CD8.After the virus kills the cells the copies of virus are burst out and replicate quickly within no time.So the antibodies will not be able to reduce the viral load. The viral load is generally detected by PCR technique.

12.Bacterial pneumonia is the most frequest and oppurtunistic in patients with HIV.The immune cells in the patient gets decreased(not only Tcells but also Bcells, macrophages, polymorphonuclear cells and cytokine production) resulting in lowering the immunity levels of the patient, most of them have the acute onset of fever and cough as the complete blood cell count shows a relative leukocytosis.Defects in mucosal immunity play a role of susceptibility in pneumonia. The same reason can be applied for oral and dental infections in the patient as the immunity gets lowered.

13.There is no cure for Hiv patients as they can live a maximum of 2-10 years.Drugs used to treat does not eliminate the infection completely but can reduce the count and reduces the risk of transmitting to another person.Medication can help the immune system to recover.Prevention efforts are only the best way to deal with HIV virus.
