In the genetic map, we can see that Hfr3 direction is anticlockwise. Therefore, first tetracycline gene will transfer to the recipient. Now, the direction will follows and other genes will transfer. In Hfr 1 region, we would get phenylalanine at time 10’ while at the same time we would get Zeomycin gene from Hfr 2.

But here we need to observe Hfr1 gene transfer.

Therefore, we would get phenylalanine at time 10’.

Until time 20’ we get Vancomycin gene.

Moreover, until time 50’ we will not get any gene. After 50’ we get lac gene.

Therefore, we would get only two genes in transfer.
