A) The EMF is the voltage of thebattery , in the open circuit , ignoring Internal resistance.

EMF = 3.08 V

B) The difference in voltage is due to internal resistance .

E-V = 3.08 - 2.95 = 0.13 V

Current = I = 1.72A

Internal Resistance = R = 0.13/1.72 = 0.0756 ohms = 7.56 x 10^-2 ohms

C) Circuit resistance = voltage after switch is closed / current = 2.95/ 1.72 = 1.72 ohms
