a) when switch is closed , current through 20 ohm resistor , I = V / R +20 ( V= I*R)
I = 29 / 11+20
I = 0.935 A
[ inductor consuder as an open circuit just after the switch is closed, because it takes some time to current to reach its maximum value and again some finite time to decay to zero value)
b) when switch closed for a long time, cureent will flow through inductor , which is given by:
I = 29 / 11 = 2.63 A
no current will flow through 20 ohm resistor.
C) when is reopened all current will flow through 20 ohm resistor .ie current through 20 ohm resistor = 2.63 A
