A) In all the crosses, the offsprings produced in F1 generation resembles one of the parent having dominant allele. In the F2 generation dominant and recessive traits are obtained in the ratio of 3:1. These results are typical of Mendelian monohybrid cross. Therefore, there is only one gene that determines the coat color.

B) There are two alleles for each strain. The genotypes of true breeding species are given below,

Light agouti is dominant over agouti, brown and black. Similarly, agouti is dominant over brown and black.
