a. Total number of pink flowers-39+13+204+68=324

Total number of red flowers-78+26+44+15=163

Total number of white flowers-5+2+117+39= 163

Now when the two pink coloured flowers were crossed two new coloured flowers-red and white were obtained. The ratio of flowers obtained is -163:324:163 or 1:2:1 ratio.This is showing incomplete dominance.

Thus red flowers are PP, white flowers are pp and pink flowers are Pp.

b.If it followed complete dominance as suggested by Mendel then in F1 all the flowers would have been red and if they were selfed then in F2, 3 flowers should be red and 1 white. There would be no pink flowers. Then out of 650 flowers, 488 should be red and 163 white.
