PART A

The aircraft ends up doing its 360kph. "along the hypotenuse" of a right triangle. It has to turn towards the north to counter the wind.
Angle = arcsin (90/360) = 14.47 degrees north of west.

PART B

Vmax= Vwest + Vwind(south) (this is a vector equation)
Then Vwest=sqrt( (Vmax )^2 - (Vwind(south)) ^2)

Speed over ground = sqrt. (360^2 - 90^2) = 348.56kph
