the only applicable point is that there would be less genetic variations among gamates. if crossing over does not occur their will be a population bottle neck arises as their is no breeding as a result decrease in size of population this can result in loss of alleles and decrease the size of gene pool. And if their is a lack of genetic variation then we might get more vulnerable to threat diseases.
