I1 + I2 - I3 = 0 -----(1)

Using KVL in the upper loop

45 - I3 * (47 + 1) - 34 * I1 = 0

34 I1 + 48 I3 = 45 ------(2)

Using KVL in the lower loop

85 - (1 + 18) I2 + 34 I1 = 0

-34 I1 + 19 I2= 85 ----(3)

solving 1 , 2 ,3

I1 = -1.011 A

I2 = 2.66 A

I3 = 1.654 A

part a)

potential across d and a = 34 * (1.011)

potential across d and a = 34.4 V

part b)

terminal voltage of 85 V = 85 - 2.66 * 1

terminal voltage of 85 V = 82.34 V

part c)

terminal voltage of 45 V = 45 - 1 * 1.654

terminal voltage of 45 V = 43.346 V
