Epidemiologists are the scientist who study about the causes and effect of the diseases within the certain group of people at particular area.They also study about the preventive measures taken to protect that particular disease.Epidemiologist deals with the group of people and not with the individual patient.
Epidemiology helps in collecting the information about the causes of the diseases,the number of people affected by the particular infection at a particular area at a particular time.The study helps to find the root cause of the infection and accordingaly epidemiologist plan out their strategies and evaluate it to prevent the infection which in turn helps in the future outbreak of the that particular infection.
