(i)reactance Xc = 1/(wc) = 1/2*pi*f*C = 1/(2*pi*60*5*10^-6) = 530.5 ohms


(ii) current i = Vmax/Xc = 17/530.5 = 0.032 A

(i)reactance XL = (wL) = 2*pi*f*L = (2*pi*60*15*10^-3) = 5.65 ohms


(ii) current i = Vmax/Xc = 17/5.65 = 3 A
