Question
Pretend that gravity doesn't exist and that instead the Earth is a giant ball of negative charge. Suppose also that every person has a net positive charge. The attraction between the negatively charged Earth and positively charged humans would mimic the attractive force of gravity. But can the electric force replicate gravity perfectly? In other words, if you lived on this charged Earth, would you notice any significantly different effects from the usual gravity-based Earth? There are several things you could mention, but be sure to consider if there would still be a mass-independent value of gExplanation / Answer
no,because electic force of attraction depends on medium present between two charged object while gravity doesnot depend.Secondly electric force of attraction will much higher than gravitational force.Force of attraction will change at all points as gravity will constant near surface.
