1. RULES You will be given your circuit board, any necessary wire, the resistors marked up on the hand-back sheet, and one multimeter. You may NOT use any other resistors than the ones I give you. You must also draw a schematic of each challenge with calculations showing you expect to meet the challenges. You will have 3 different circuits and 3 different schematics to show. 2. SPECIFIC VOLTAGE From a 5V power supply, have a drop of 3.3V over a specific resistor accurate to the 0.1V mark 3. SPECIFIC CURRENT From a 6.0V power supply, show a current of 0.06 mA going through your circuit A. SPECIFIC RESISTANCE Create a Resistor Array using no less than 5 Resistors that makes up an effective resistance (from the first resistor to the last) of 130.5 accurate to the 0.1 mark.Explanation / Answer
1000 ohm and 10ohm are in parallel, their equivalent resistance is given by, R= (1/R1 + 1/R2)-1
R= (1/10 +1/1000)-1 =9.9 ohm
now 9.9,470, 330, 100 and 100 are in series,
so total resistance Rt= 9.9+470+330+100+100=1009.9 ohm
so current in the circuit= i= V /Rt
i=6/1009.9
i=5.94x10-3 A= 5.94 mA
so current is approximately equal to 6 m A
