Question

Hi! I'm really not sure how to go about this question, can anyone please help?

Thanks!

In each of these eight pictures, there is a pair of charges. The charge on the left is always a +2Q charge. The charge on the right is either -Q, -3Q, +Q, or +3Q, in some order in pictures A-D and in some order (maybe a different order) in pictures E-H. The charges are the same distance apart in every picture. In pictures A-D, label the unmarked particle with its charge. In pictures E-H, label the unmarked particle with its charge. For pictures A-D, shade in any regions where the net electric potential is negative.

Explanation / Answer

A) +Q

B) -Q

C) -3Q

D) +3Q

E) -3Q

F) -Q

G) +Q
H) +3Q

(c) in case of +ve charge no -ve potential .....and in case of negative charge the region right ti the 0V line is -ve potential region.

(d) D > A > B > C
