If you look into a mirror, and see the image of your own nose, where would you say that image is located? (Is it at the surface of the mirror? In front of it? Behind it? When you have one eye closed, what happens to your depth perception? Is it better than usual? Worse? Completely gone? Briefly explain the reasoning behind your thoughts. In your own words, what is a "light ray"? Are there light rays emanating from your nose when you look in the mirror? (One? More than one?) Do any of those light rays (from your nose) strike your eye?Explanation / Answer
1) if it is plane mirror ,the image forms behind the mirror
2) worse,why because ,if it is with two eyes , more light goes into the eyes from the outside world ,if is only on eye opened,just no.of light rays will goes into eye and forms an image on retina
3) light ray is a path followed by a photon .
when we look in mirror ,many rays emanating from our nose and incidents on mirror .Yes some light rays strikes on our eyes due to reflection phenmenon
