Create a 2-4 paragraph "dilemma" similar to the other dilemmas you have been solving throughout this term.
Solve the dilemma using Kant's ethics (Categorical Imperative).
Solve the dilemma using any other method we have discussed to date (with which you agree.)
State which resolution (Kant's or the other one you chose) you prefer and why.
Explanation / Answer
Environmental based ethics which can be solved by kant's ethics can be using the nature to fullfill our needs which is of course wrong because nature is there to protect us and prosper us.
Kant's has always said that people should act in the norms and maxim upto a certain extent. They should also understand that we should not use a thing as a mean to end and to fullfill our desires which we are usually doing with the nature
There is a necessity of trust, adherences to rules and keeping promises is all what we need to do according to the kant
We can also use hegel methods because he claimed that kant's ethics lacks specific information and because of this can't be considered as moral of supreme importance. He said that everything should be logic driven and the desicions and act should be done after looking the context of the situation.
