Explanation / Answer
2. Human activities and human growth are the fundamental factors for the loss of biodiversity. Ecosystem is altered by the environmental changes and the species getting trouble to adapt the changed system. Along with the environmental changes habitat loss and degradation, pollutions, over exploitation, and invasion of species affect the biodiversity and leads to the degradation. The present extinction rate 1,000 times increased and it is expected to increase 10,000 times in next century. Growth in human pollution leads to increase in needs and more resources. This condition degrades the resources and increase in environmental changes negatively. All these conditions lead to the extinction of biodiversity.
