PEi + KEi = PEf + KEf

0 + 0 = (-3.6 x 9.8 x 1.8) + (2.2 x 9.8 x 1.8) + (2.2 + 3.6)v^2 /2

24.7 = 2.9 v^2

v = 2.92 m/s


after lighter mass will be in free fall,

so h = v0^2 / 2g = 2.92^2 / (2 x 9.8) = 0.43 m

heght from ground = 1.8 + 1.8 + 0.43

= 4.03 m
