In an air bag safety test, two identical crash test dummies are placed in a vehicle equipped with air

bags. The air bag in front of one of the dummies is disabled so that it does not function. The car is

then crashed into a rigid barrier and sensors within each of the dummies record the forces acting on

the dummies during the collision. A graph of the collision force on the dummies as a function of time
