Question

I want know the differences between 10m/s and 10m/s^2. I am confused about these two formula: v=gt and d=1/2gt^2. what g represnt? thanks I want know the differences between 10m/s and 10m/s^2. I am confused about these two formula: v=gt and d=1/2gt^2. what g represnt? thanks

Explanation / Answer

Here        10 m/s represents thevelocity        10 m/s2 representsthe acceleration If the object falling freely from rest then        its initial velocity iszero then the velocity of the object at time t is      v - u = at ==> v = 0 + gt ==> v =gt here acceleration a = g = acceleration due to gravity = 10m/s2 . We know that    d = ut + 1/2 at2             = 0 + 1/2 gt2 ==> distance of the object at time t is             d = 1/2 gt2 i hope this helps you.
