   If the clock is running slow, the timeperiod of click is greater than it should be, i.e. it is takingmore time between one complete oscillation. Hence the time periodmust be reduced.    Timeperiod   T   =   2(L/g)    since time period is proportion to squareroot of length of the pendulum, the length of the pendulum must bereduced.
