A projectile is fired with an initial velocity in the x direction of 2.7 m/sec and an initial velocity in the y direction of 6.6 m/sec. At what angle with respect to the x axis was the projectile fired? I got that the angle is 67.75, the resultant initial velocity is 7.13 m/s, and the distance in the +y direction the projectile traveled before its velocity in the y direction is 0 (2.2 m) but I am not sure of the time that i got for the maximum height in the +y direction. I got .66s. Please help asap I will give you the highest amount of points I can possibly give!Explanation / Answer
time to reach the maximum height, t = usin/g
u = 7.13 m/s
then by calculating, t = 0.673 sec
