E antigen is a red blood cell antigen of the Rh blood group system. So individuals will not produce an Anti- E antibody if they have E antigen on the surface of their red blood cells. However if an individual does not have E antigen and get exposed to it through child birth or blood transfusion, the individual’s immune system may build Anti -E antibodies.
