After a month joining the City, a severe storm event occurred. A number of downtown businesses were flooded. A number of residences were flooded in the south side of the city. A number of citizens got their basements flooded with sanitary sewage. You have to report to City Council. Describe maximum in ten steps, what you will do and how will proceed with the issue.

Sustainable drainage: permeable pavement, sidewals and gardens. keep sewer system clean so that it can do its work properly . Avoiding pouring fats,oils and grease down the drain. Keep the nearest catch basin clear of debris Seal the cracks in the foundation walls and floor. Create flood plains and overflow areas for river. Install water infiltration and attenuation system. Reduce household water use during heavy rains and avoid making the basement hogh value living space,and avoid storage on your basement floor. Improve flood warning mechanism. Consideration for reverse slope driveways.
