The steel floor is preassembled to create horizontal lap joints. The plate is V" thick A36 structural steel and there is 7000ft. of lap joints to be welded with size fillets. or else use gas welding also known as (AKA) Oxy-fuel welding or commonly called oxyacetylene welding. these are processes that use fuel gases and oxygen to weld and cut metals.

Oxy-fuel is one of the oldest welding process. in thiis technique a welding torch is used to weld metals.

Welding metal results when 2 pieces are heated to a temperature that produces a shared pool of molten metal. The molten pool is generally supplied with additional metal called filler. Filler material depends upon the metals to be welded.

the requirements for gas welding are an oxygen source and a fuel gas source (usually contained in cylinders), 2 pressure regulators and 2 flexible hoses (one for each cylinder), and a torch.

now weld the portion carefully and remove the slag after it cools down using hammer. the joint will be clear and shining underneath slag and it will hold it for a very long time
