FACTS
(1) If the material using changes, then the quality of the product will get affected.
(2) There is possibility to loose the contract, if the time require to complete the project is extented.
(3) If the project is not completed within the time, then it will affect the upcoming contracts too.
(4) Cost of a project is more than expected means, the customer may go for another company.
(5) Cost and time of a project should be maintain as per planning, otherwise it will loose the name of the company in public.
OPTIONS
(1) The company can convince the customer by explaining the quality of a project and life span of the project.
(2) The company can help the customer for getting loans for required amount.
(3) The customer can compensate the excess amount by increasing the price of a product.
(4) The company can complete the project within the scheduled time by adding more workers.
CONSEQUENCES
(1) If the type of material used changes, then the life span and quality of a project will get affected.This will create bad name and thoughts about the company.
(2) If any problem occurs in the poduct after years of completion of project,the Government have rights to take action on the company.
(3) If the employees laid off then there family will get affected and we may not get good candidate like them for upcoming projects.
ETHICAL CHOICE
(1) Considering the customer about the quality of product and the cost of project, will leads to take good decision whether to use good quality material.
(2) Adding temporary staffs till the completion of project can help to complete the project within time.
(3) Usually actual cost is more than estimated cost, so its better to convince the customer and helping him for finacial helps such as loan,etc. and also helping him marketing of the product through our customers.
(4) This may leads to get profit to the company and we can feel happy for satisfying our customer and also the company can get more credit in public.
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILTY
As a design engineer of a company, i have to work hard for the company to preserve the contract. But i should obey for my Manager.I can give suggestion to manager, as a design engineer. So i will try to convince the customer with the help of Manager.I will explain the importance of quality of material using and product.i will explain about the profit, if the quality of a product is good. In addition to the quality of the product, safety is important. After years of completion of project , am also one of the responsibilty for safety of a product. If any problem occurs in safety, Me too may get funishment by Government. So , in this matter my responsibility is,
(1) Working hard for my company to get profit.
(2) working hard to preserve the contract.
(3) Giving a good feel to customer about quality of a product.
(4) Working to satisfy the requirements of a customer and to make profit for company and to make profit for customer by giving good product.
(5) Working for getting good name for the company and further contracts through this project.
(6) Working to save other employees job.
