- Before selecting the effective sustanable pavement , I want to explain all the terms in pavement concrete

1.Hot Mix Asphalt concrete(HMCA) : It is produced by mixing of Asphalt ,agreggates at 150 degree celcius . paving and compaction is also done at hot temperature . it is generally employed in summer months because in winter the compacted base will cool the asphalt too much before it get required density. This mix uses a very huge amount of energy for heating purpose and also it emmits fumes like co2,green house gases at that temperature.

2.Warm Mix Asphalt concrete(WMCA) :WMCA is produced by adding asphalt ,agreggates ,zeolites and etc at warm temperatures(or) lower temperatures than HMCA .It emmits less co2,aersolos into atmosphere than HMCA.

3.soil cement pavement : It consists of soil and cement ,as compared to PCC it contains lesser cement .Soil cement is frequently used as a construction material for pipe bedding, slope protection, and road construction as a subbase layer reinforcing and protecting the subgrade. It has good compressive and shear strength, but is brittle and has low tensile strength, so it is prone to forming cracks. It is not an effective pavement than PCC and asphalt

4.PCC : Portland Cement Conrete .

5. High Reflective Pavement : It reflects more amount of heat from sun and maintains optimum temperatures.

                      The above pavement options are sustainable than other because

       - using previous asphalt means recycling and reusing previous one , asphalt is 100% recylable material ,and it is best sustainable pavement because it reduces wastage

       -WMAC is selected because while production it requires less amount of energy for heating .and it emits less co2 gaseous into atmosphere .Warm mix asphalt (WMA) is the greatest advance in asphalt technology since recycling, and has revolutionary implications for the asphalt paving industry and the environment. By lowering the temperatures at which asphalt mixes are produced and placed on the road by 50°F to 100°F, WMA benefits the producer by cutting fuel consumption and costs while decreasing the production of greenhouse gases.

LEAST Sustainble pavement is PCC and HMCA .
