For completely dry troposphere air is said to be stable if the decrease in air temperature with increase in altitude is less than 9.8 per km and for completely moist troposphere stable air is when the decrease in temperature with increase in altitude is less than 6 per km .
In the question above the decrease in temperature is 2 for 100 m altitude change thus 20 per km and hence unstable air.

Adiabatic lapse rate = 10 per km or 1 per 100m
Thus temperature of polluted air with various altitudes is
