Calculate the rate difference and provide an interpretation of the result: You conduct a study to assess the association of traffic accidents to the use of cellular phones while driving. Your study reveals that per 10,000 miles, the incidence of traffic accidents for people that were using their cellular phones is 11.1; and the incidence of accidents for people not using their cellular phones is 8.6. Detrermine the difference between accident rates for people that were driving and using their cellular phone versus those that were not using their phone while driving. Then write a paragraph or two explaining your findings or results.

Hence if we calculate the full cell phone usage and accidents due to it all over the world over a period of time, we will be really shocked how much human kind is addicted to phone and losing their lives or organs because of this practice.

Even if any urgent matter is there it is not that much worth than life. Patiently waiting for a few minutes till vehicle is stopped and then attending the phone by again calling is really worth trying. This not only saves the life of the driver using the cell but all other poor people who did not use cell but met with accident because of negligence of cell phone users.

Keeping in silent mode the cell phone should be made compulsory and fine should be charged.

To be more strict, the car engine should not be allowed to be on while cell phone while on , this will become a compulsory affair to the persons who never obey whatever form of rules

There is no doubt about the increase of accidents due to cell phones while driving. The problem lies in how to educate the drivers not to use them.

Hence proper counselling program, banners everywhere or photos of real accidents because of cell use everywhere on main roads and adding the importance in school curriculum will help in the long run.
