Okay this is kinda confusing me... it gives me thesedirections> >For the following questions, build the pictorial andphysical models as shown in the preceding example. Do not solve theproblems. The Question goes like this...well exactly like this> >A speeding car is traveling at a constant speed of30m/s when it passes a stopped police car. the police caraccelerates at 7m/s2 (squared). How fast will it be going when itcatches up with the speeding car?

x1=30t and x1=7t2, so when they pass eachother x1=x2then we should have 30t=7t2, and t=4.286 seconds. So nowwe find the speed of the cop car with the time and the accelerationthat is given, so a=v/t or v=at=(7)(4.286)=30 m/s
