BIM means Building Information Modelling.BIM professionals role is to evolve inrespond to implement new technology
qualifications to pursue a career in BIM:
he should have basic degree(higher degree)in a construction based subject.
atleast 5 yeears experience in architecure/onstruction/design/engineering role like site engineer.
BIM manageer should have basic knowldge about modelling process,and have sufficient it skills and able to use different softwares.
work toward to becoming BIM service manager:
BIM manager is the person who has knowledge about implementation of Building Information Modelling(BIM) and implementation of the digital construction procedure in designing,construction and upto handovering the project to the owner.
for becoming a BIM manager the following steps have to be taken.
In BIM the 5 categories we have to know are
1)architecture,engineering and construcion.
2)digital softwae and 3-d modelling.:revit,civil 3d,autocad,staad-pro like wise softwares have to be understand and have experience with in.
3)knowledge of computer infrastucture and hardware:we should have thprough knowleedge about the hardware of the systems whch will give a simpe way in case of trouble with them.
4)management skills: coordinating the members in the team and completing the work within the stipulated time and also managing the clients.
5)understanding the problem and giving solution to that.: it will come with the experience and subject knowledge.
after implementing the considered qualifications the following steps have to be taken
1)apply for the BIM notification
2)assesment of the application by the authority
3)obligations and fullfillment of the obligations
4)requirtment.

1)gives real information as more accuracy softwares are implemented here
2)as the accuracy is more the no wastage of time for rework.and can do what we want to show to the clients.
3)control over the project as it will autosave the work and doesnot involve copy.

5)simulate and visualize:by using simulation toolsdifferent data can be visualized easily for eg:sunlight during different seasons.
6)resolve conflict: it can solve conflicts easily because the information is clear and act as proof.
7)sequenc you steps:by managing online the sequence of sets and subsets are more easy
8)dive into detail.:as it involves IT technology every detail can be explained easily
9)present perfectly:the project can be present perfectly without by using 3D softwares.
10)reduce fragmentation.by using BIM the integration of project worldwidely can become easy and within less time.

the challenges involved in the BIM are

2)mangement skills are the another challenge.
3)coordinating the management skills,construction skills,IT skills is difficult
