I'm assuming that both players are running towards eachother S= S01 + V1t ; whereS01=15yards = 15x0.9144 = 13.72m andV1=15 m/s S= S02 - V2t ; whereS02=50yards = 45.72 m and V2=-5m/s For them to meet S01 + V1t =S02 -V2t t= [S02 - S01 ] / [V1 -V2] t=[45.72 - 15.72]/[15 -5] = 3 s S= S02 - V2t = 45.72 -5 x 3 S= 30.72 m = 33.6 yards YL = between 33 and 34Related Questions
