In a rifle barrel, a 15.0 gbullet is accelerated from rest to a speed of 780 m/s.
Find the constant acceleration of a bullet that starts from restand gains a speed of 780 m/s overa distance of 72.0 cm.     v2 = v02 +2 a (x-x0)
          (780)2= 0 + 2 a (0.72-0)? I'm not sure how this is possible. Cos(0) = 1, which wouldmake v02 =  v2 and itwouldn't work out. I understand that if it was in the ydirection you would us sin(0), and that would work, but we're notin the y direction on this one. If you know how this works please tell me.
