There has been much time and attendtion paid throughout history where varius people and societies have tried to control genetics in humans to produce "perfect people". It is now possible to predtermine the sex of your child. Medicine is investigating the human genome and may soon be able to determine many traits including everything from height to intelligence. Do you think people will someday be able to "shop" for their offsping? If/when this does happen would you do it? If so what traits would you want in your child? If not why not? Defen your answer. Explanation / Answer
A perfect person would be a person with zero health issues, a brain with perfect thoughts exploring whole new things or ideas around the universe, a person gifted with high mental and physical strength. Surely the day will come when high end traits will be shopped to get a perfect or near perfect offspring. I would go for it but not in every perspective. A child with no genetic disease and high immunity is going to be a major concern in future; genetic alterations due to environmental conditions and other mutagens will increase the risk of genetic diseases and a low immunity. So getting a chance to shop I would go for a better immune system and disease free child. At the same time I would like a child with high intelligence as well as emotional quotient because its important for a child to stay stress free to work more. The future seems to be very stressful and competitive and to stay calm and successful would become a very hard job (survival of the fittest..!!). Other than the above traits I would like my child to grow and develop naturally as it really affects the way of thinging and creativity of a person which cannot be bought along will genes.
