Hello, I have a question about resistors in series and in parallel. My question is when using Kirchoff's rule does itmatter if one starts with the resistors that are in series, or theresisitors that are in parallel first. Using Kirchoff's Rule It is best to simplify the resistors inparallel first, so they end up being in one complete series withthe other resistors in the circuit. In other words, work from theinside out. Current relates to voltage and resistance through the equation V=IRor simply, I=V/R
