Question
Hello, if someone could please help me with a problem, I wouldbe most appreciative. Thank you in advance is you areable!! :-) A pendulum clock can be approximated as a simple pendulum oflength 1.00 m and keeps accurate time at a location where g = 9.83m/s^2. In location where g = 9.78 m/s^2, what must bethe new length of the pendulum, such that the clock continues tokeep accurate time (that is, its period remains the same). Thanks again, everyone! We know , time period of a pendulum is directly proportional to(l/g So when time period are equal , L1/L2 = g1/g2 Putting the values 1 subscript is for initial condition , 1.00 / L2 = 9.83 / 9.78 L2= 0.995 m
