Hi, I am confused on part of my homework. The chart on thehomework shows 5 constellations and their position if you cansee the sun and stars during the day time. The sun is positionedover Sargittarus at noon. Libra to the west and Aquarius at theeast. Kind of like below but in an arc. The Sun would still be in Sagittarius at sunset. The sun'smovement in our sky is due to the rotation of the earth relative tothe sun. Becuase of this, the constellations will also appear tospin around us at about the same rate the sun appears to move inour sky. However, the sun's position in the constellationschanges over longer periods of time (weeks/months) due to theearth's orbit around the sun.
