Question

using kirchoffs rules (a) find the current in each resistor infig 18-23 and find (b) the potential difference between points cand f On solving equation (1) and (2) we get Multiplying eq (1) andeq (2) by 3 and subtracting

--> 3500i1-2100i2=7
-->900i-2100i2=6 ---------------------
2600i1=1
also 1/2600 does not equal 0.385E-2

i1 = 0.385x10^-2

when i plug this i1 into eq 1 or 2 to solve fori2 i do not get -2.69E-3 ....
am i doing something wrong? or is there an error on cramstersolution using kirchoffs rules (a) find the current in each resistor infig 18-23 and find (b) the potential difference between points cand f On solving equation (1) and (2) we get Multiplying eq (1) andeq (2) by 3 and subtracting

Explanation / Answer

1/2600 = 3.85*10-4 A (not 3.85*10-2 A) =0.385 mA
