Question

A circuit is pulled with a 16-N force toward the right to maintaina constant speed v. At the instantshown, the loop is partially in and partially out of a uniformmagnetic field that is directed into the paper. As thecircuit moves, a 6.0-A current flows through a 4.0- ohm resistor. What is the direction of the current flow? What is themagnitude of v?

this is some of the answers, but i don't knowhow they got it?

The induced current flows clockwise around thecircuit

The magnitude of V is 9.0 m/s

Please answer all the parts of this question, thank you

Explanation / Answer

note the speed is constant, so the power of the force should beequal to . the power of the force = F*v the power consumed on the resistor = I2R F*v = I2R v = I2R/F = 6.02*4.0/16 = 9.0 m/s
