You have not clearly mentioned that what you want to know about this perticular question. But you have marked 2 things so I guess you want to know what these are so you can understand your subject. So here it is explanation of both of the terms:

Ground Shaking: In the earth crust when tectonic plates collides first straining occurs in both plates, but if energy released during this is more then the plates can store in the form of stain energy then this energy is released in the form of waves (you must be knowing about these waves, if don't then please refer any standard book). Now these earthquake waves travel on earth surface and causes mass destruction. The most common form of this destruction is ground shaking. When the ground shakes strongly, buildings can be damaged or destroyed and their occupants may be injured or killed.

Liquefaction: Liquefaction occurs mainly at the time of earthquake. When in any area soil in loose saturated sand then at the time of earthquake force is applied by the earthquake waves on sand, tending the soil particle to come closer that in turn increases water pressure but due to total pressure remaining the same a moment comes when water pressure equals total pressure so effective pressure becomes zero and because Sand have cohesion value zero so due to zero effective stress it's shear strength becomes zero which leads to sudden settlement of soil in the area with water coming up. (liquefaction is generally seen in areas near sea coast.
