It seems from the graph that the ideal quenching has the number 5. Now, considering the vertical line from 3 eV/mol intersects the 5 curve, then taking horizontal line from the intersection intersects the y-axis at 50 %. Hence, the energy efficiency is 50 % for the question quoted.
