Explanation / Answer
a)Computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) is an application technology that uses computer software and machinery to facilitate and automate manufacturing processes. CAM is the successor of computer-aided engineering (CAE) and is often used in tandem with computer-aided design (CAD).
CAM reduces waste and energy for enhanced manufacturing and production efficiency via increased production speeds, raw material consistency and more precise tooling accuracy.
CAM used for Computer Numerical Controlled machines
B)
1.)Static Load Rating Bearing
The basic static radial load rating Co is used when bearings rotate at very slow speeds are subjected to very slow oscillations, or stationary under load. It also must be considered when heavy shock loads of short duration act on a rotating bearing
2.) Dynamic Load Rating Bearing
The basic dynamic load rating C is used for calculations involving the selection of bearings which rotate under load. It expresses the bearing radial load which will give a basic rating life of one million revolutions.
Bearing Life
The life of a rolling bearing is defined as the number of revolutions or the number of hours at a given speed which the bearing is capable of enduring before the first sign of fatigue failure occurs on one of its rings or rolling elements
